Ladies item. Sterling Silver and 9ct gold. 3SALWL2
Lewis Carroll’s ‘Queen of Hearts’ was inspired by two famous queens; Margaret, of The House of Lancaster and Queen Victoria. In ‘Through the Looking Glass’, Alice is also crowned Queen. At the centre of this exquisite locket is a sparkling red ruby which acts as a tribute to the heart. These pieces are inspired by the magical adventures of Lewis Carroll’s Alice. Alice Liddell, the young girl who inspired the author, first visited Llandudno in 1861, staying at the Tudno Villa apartments, now the St. Tudno Hotel. The Liddell family also had a holiday home at Penmorfa on the West Shore.
